Silver birch scene!

Good evening lovelies! Hope everyone had a great weekend?
We are having our annual Folk Week in our town this week, it started fri night actually, it's the 37th year and it gets bigger every year, it's great, I try to go down every morning, there's a fab craft tent, with every kind of craft imaginable!
So tonight's make I'm entering into http://panpasteluk.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/challenge-31-create-scene.html the DT on this challenge are amazing, some fab samples.
I've used an A5 fancy shape white card base which I have turned into an easel card, I used Pan pastels to create the background, I cut a circle in some paper to create the moon I used yellow ochre tint, the sky is random splodges of phthlos blue and violet which I blended then sprayed with cheap hairspray to seal and inked edges with black soot DI, the stamp is Silver birch scene by Clarity stamps the sentiment came with it too, I stamped with black ink, coloured in the trunks careful to avoid the knots and cracks with a quickie glue pen, left it for a few mins to become tacky then used gilding flakes they are mostly silver but have a few bits of other colours I can't remember the name but it was winter something? I matted onto black then a dark indigo coredinations which was cut and embossed with grand nesties added some twine and buttons from stash, viola! Thank you for visiting I really do enjoy reading your comments xxx

Hi Zoe this is a work of art, and so imaginative. I also have this stamp and its brilliant to see how you have used it. I am not confident using this depth of colour blending inks....but I think I may have to have a play now, having seen this.

Thanks so much for your continued support and lovely comments of my blog. I read them all and appreciate them all.
