15 minute projects

Good morning Lovelies and welcome to my blog.

Today I'm sharing some cards I made in less than 15 minutes for Chocolate Baroque.

My first two cards I used Water colour cardstock, I stamped the background stamps using Versamark Inkpad and heat embossed with white Embossing Powder, I then wet the entire card with clean water and used liquid watercolour inks and just let them pool and wick.

My third card speaks for itself really lol.

I hope you like my cards, thank you for visiting, I love reading your comments, have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx

New Sweet Poppy Stencils

Good morning Lovelies, I'm just sharing a few projects I've made using the fabulous new Stencils from Sweet Poppy.

Our lovely Lucy will be on Hochanda next month featuring some of these stencils.

The first two cards I've used up some old Christmas themed papers, Pearlescent Sweet Poppy Paste and Glitters.
The last card I used Archival inks, Translucent Paste and Micro beads.
My Tissue box cover is MDF which I used Chalk paints and a Crackle Medium then a Glitter Paste through the stencil.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you'll be recording or watching Lucy, you won't be disappointed.
Have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx

A few dabbles

Good evening Lovelies.
I hope you've enjoyed the glorious weekend weather?
I've spent mine potting up summer plants and ache over my aches lol it's no fun aging, especially when you have an inquisitive toddler getting into mischief every few seconds and every time I turn my back, bless her, she's adorable.

So here's a few dabbles I've made over the last week, I don't blog as often as I used to, simply because I rarely get any comments now Facebook has changed its notification settings!!!

My first and third cards are made using Altenew stamps, theses cards are for friends birthdays, my second card is my Mums birthday card which was yesterday (Saturday) I love this stamp set by Donna Downey, and my final project is a small 5x7" canvas coloured with Brusho's and a stencil on the background then I used this gorgeous Daisy stencil from Designs by Georgina, it's one of my favourites, I used "Expand-it" once dry (over night in this case) I painted using Brusho's and heated with heat tool until it all beaded up, its funky stuff.

Thank you for visiting, please leave a comment if you want. Have a wonderful week xx Zoe xx

Challenge 35 week 1 by Zoe - Chocolate Baroque

Good morning Lovelies and welcome to my first Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge post this month.

This month is going to be the last for the Colour Challenge sadly, I know lots of people are going to miss it, but avid Chocolate Baroque followers will be aware that we have many exciting things going on and sometimes not as much time as we'd like.

All the info you need to enter the challenge is on the blog, just follow my link above for the deets.

I love the colours this month and I've made a card for my first project.

Here is the Swatch.

I started by blending Distress Oxides and Distress inks with a blending tool, and spritzed water here and there before drying, I then used the corner element to Dusky Damask  which I spritzed with water and stamped in the top corner to give a shadowy effect I blotted and dried it. I used Floral notes which I heat embossed using Versamark Inkpad and white embossing powder, I used the same colour inkpads on my mat and water brush to colour my flowers, added the Word from Journal Today and some dots using a white pen, also some chunky Frantage for texture.

Thank you for visiting, I hope I've inspired you to join in in our final challenge. Have a great day xx Zoe xx
