15 minutes or less by Zoe

Good morning Lovelies, I hope you're enjoying your summer.
I'm back today with my second post this month for the Bi-monthly post for Chocolate Baroque DT blog featuring CAS projects using the fab Chocolate Baroque stamps.
As lovely as it is to have the time to play and experiment with different technique we sometimes don't always have the time or products and of course not everyone likes all the colours and busy backgrounds etc, so we are doing bi-monthly posts featuring CAS (clean and simple), Easy and quick projects that take less than 15 minutes using the gorgeous Chocolate Baroque stamps to give you inspiration and to show that "Quick and simple" can be just as fab.
I'm going to list and link the stamps in order of appearance to save keep backtracking in my post as there are so many photos today, they are all very simple, all the cards were on White Linen Texture card and the tag was Stamping card.
My Christmas cards were stamped using Grey inks, my tag was inked around the edges with Distress ink and the flowers were coloured with watercolour pencils and a water brush, the lace card with the flower was stamped using Onyx Black Versafine Inkpad, the flower was from my stash.

Thank you so much for spending your time to visit and leave a comment, I hope I've inspired you.

Have a great day xx Zoe xx

Take 15 minutes and create something beautiful

Good morning Lovelies, I hope you're all well, I wish our summer weather would come back :( it's been so changeable.

So I'm sharing with you today my CAS creations for the bi-monthly feature for Chocolate Baroque DT blog, it's been set up to show you that you don't have to use flash techniques to create something quite, simple and lovely, these all took less than 15 mins.

My first is using a large stamp from the stunning Patchwork Butterfly set, I've used Linen texture card stock, I masked off square using lo-tack tape, stamped using Versafine Inkpad in Black and coloured using watercolour pencils.

I created this envelope using stamps from the Mini art sets and the SKL Landscape, which I coloured in using Watercolour pencils.

A male card using stamps from the Eccentric Edwardian set, I masked a strip using lo-tack tape, I used Brusho's spritzed with a bit of water, dried and stamped with the tape still in situ, removed the tape then stamped the clocks.

Simply stamped onto Linen textured card which had been die cut using a stitched edge nesting die, then using distress ink and waterbrush to create a bit of light and shade on my blue moon.

I hope I've inspired you today, I do love create CAS projects, thank you for visiting, have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx

New Sweet Poppy Stencils pt 3

Good Morning Lovelies, I'm back with my third post featuring another gorgeous new Stencil from Sweet Poppy, this time it's Poppy Circle another beautiful stencil designed by Tracey Dutton - aka Lavinia Stamps, I love poppies as do many people, they lend themselves to so many occasions, I've dedicated mine to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

My first I simply used Glossy white Sweet Poppy texture paste, once dry I used alcohol inks with a felt applicator.

My second card I stamped some script then coloured with spray inks, used translucent SP paste, once dry I carefully painted over using Starlight paint in black using an almost dry wet wipe, I worked fast to allow to remove the paint while wet off the image.

Don't forget to tune in to Create and Craft tv on 9th July at 3pm

Have a great day, back tomorrow with more samples, xx Zoe xx

New Sweet Poppy Stencils

Good morning Lovelies, lovely weather for ducks!!! Gosh it's been a very wet June for us, I hope we are going to get some more summer?

Today I'm sharing with you some samples I've made featuring the gorgeous Steampunk Dragonfly this was designed by the very talented Emma Cronin for Sweet Poppy Stencils, our lovely Lucy Ellis will be on Create and Craft tv filming live from Doncaster on the 10 th July, don't forget to set your recorders or watch live.

My second creation is a 7x7 canvas, I used Brusho's on my background, letting it run and mix together, I added some detail using the Cogs and Gears Flower background plate, also designed by Emma, and stamped using a background stamp with Flitterglu and added Gilding flakes, I stencilled on my Dragonfly using Black Archival Inkpad and cut n dry foam, once washed and dried I replaced the stencil and using some foam I rubbed in some turquoise glitter medium to get a more "foiled effect" but not all over, just in places on the wings and body, a few sequins and blue micro beads here and there, edged with black paint and "Voila"

I hope you love this new stencil and manage to tune in on the 10th July, have a great day xx Zoe xx p.s I'll be back tomorrow with some more samples!

Make something beautiful in less than 15 mins

Good morning Lovelies, phew we've had some hot and humid days, it's quite tiring but I'm not complaining!!!

Today I'm sharing with you my second post this month in our Bi-monthly feature showcasing CAS (clean and simple) projects using fabulous Chocolate Baroque stamps, in less than 15 minutes. It's so easy to experiment with different techniques etc but of course we are aware that's it's not for everyone, so we as the Design team want you to get the most out of your stamps and show that they can be simple and quick but equally as beautiful.

I used dies to create my base and layers using a Linen texture card, I love the effect linen card gives on clean and simple designs, it just adds a crispness and class, I stamped using Versafine - Onyx black the beautiful Fancy Flowers and coloured using coloured pencils turning and repeating in the other corner and simply stamped my sentiment from Birthday Words

Now this card I didn't time myself but I fear it was a little over 15 mins due to the fussy cutting of the butterfly but it's still Clean and simple, again I've used nesting dies to create my layers and a frame with Linen Texture card, I stamped with Versamark Inkpad the Decadent Brocade and heat embossed using a pale blue pearly embossing powder, I had some scraps of card that I'd previously sprayed with a mica based ink and stamped again using the Versamark Inkpad and pale blue EP using a beautiful butterfly from Tangled Garden set, I used a word die and hot glue gun to attach my butterfly to create dimension.

I used a circle mask/stencil and simply stamped around using various colours of distress inkpads foliage from the Teeny Weeny Meadow set word from Journal today set.

Thank you for kindly visiting and leaving a comment, I love to read them. Please pop along and check out what the rest of my talented teamies have created for you here

I hope you've been inspired? Have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx
