Wk 1 Challenge #17 Chocolate Baroque -Zoe

Good morning Lovelies, I hope everyone is managing to keep safe, dry and warm with all the awful weather hitting us, fortunately down here on the south east coast we haven't had it too bad, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Today I'm sharing with you my project for Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge #17 here is the Colour Swatch to follow and below that is my Bookmark.

I used this Greyboard bookmark from the Postcard and Bookmark pk I started by painting with white Gesso and then a Chalk paint, I used Flitterglu onto a piece of Cut and Dry foam as an Inkpad and stamped using part of Decorative Edges stamp set and then added gilding flakes and scrubbed off the residue, then using a Black Archival Inkpad stamped using the gorgeous Wisteria Lane stamp set, I added a few highlights using a gold glitter pen and inked the edges using Aged Mahogany Disress ink.

Thank you for visiting today, I hope you feel inspired enough to join in the challenge, have a great day xx Zoe xx

More samples from Chocolate Baroque

Good morning Lovelies. Did you see our fab Lesley Wharton yesterday on The Craft Challenge, what a professional she was, so calm and warm and great demos, the samples from my teamies were fab too, here are 3 more that I made.

I used Distress markers on the trees.

Here I've used the Shaving foam technique.

These little wooden tags were hidden away for ages in my stash, I used Gesso and Silk Acrylics to colour them and my birds are on Shrink plastic that were coloured with watercolour pencils.

Thank you for visiting today, have a great one xx Zoe xx

Workshop projects

Good morning Lovelies, and what a lovely sunny but fresh morning it is, I hope you're enjoying your weekend?

I had a wonderful day yesterday as I always do at Eileen Godwins Workshop down in Rochester Kent, details here, if you haven't been yet you are definitely missing out, such fun. I usually go to group 2 but I'm busy next weekend and so infiltrated group 1's cosy little group and what a lovely bunch of ladies and Eric, although I only knew one other person there I felt so comfortable and welcome.

Thank you Eileen and group 1 for a fab day

Here's what I made. I had to do a little homework as time flew by, but I'm pleased with my Canvasses, the other ladies and Eric also produced stunning works of art.

The Butterflies on my last canvas are by Chocolate Baroque called Patchwork Butterfly you can purchase them here

Thank you by stopping today, have a fab weekend xx Zoe xx
